I've been having fun with "My Digital Studio (MDS)." This ornament was created using MDS. Everything--the background paper, the stamped image, the greeting--was printed on my inkjet printer from MDS. I decoupaged the paper and greeting medallion to a painted paper mache' ornament. I printed out 3 copies of the stamped image (it can be sized to fit the ornament in MDS) and colored them using watercolor pencils and sans odor oil and a blending stump. The image is

cut out, layered and finished with Crystal Effects.

The cute little snowman ornament was created the same way!

The adorable butterfly box somewhere on this page (Sorry, I have no idea where the photos are going to land on this blog!) was created using MDS also (the butterflies are cut with my Sissix Big Shot). I printed the Designer Series paper onto our Whisper

White card stock with my inkjet printer to form the box. I think the colors came out pretty close (colors

will vary depending on your printer).

I then printed Designer Series paper onto plain copy paper to make the flower.

MDS can be used for way more than scrapbooking...and it's 50% off right now!

One Last Chance!

Stampin'Up! Color Renovation!

After 2 years of extensive research, Stampin'Up! is introducing a newly revised color pallet. In a nutshell, the details include:

• 5 brand new colors
• 10 returning in-colors, both past and current
• Instead of color families, we will have color collectons (Brights, Regals, Subtles and Neutrals)
• With the new catalog will come 5 new in-colors which will be available for 2 years, then in 2011, another 5 will be introduced for a total of 10 in-colors at a time, each group available for a total of 2 years.
• Some colors will be retiring, but the total permanent pallet will include 40 colors plus 10 in-colors.

Although I will miss a few of the retiring colors, I love the new colors, and I'm thrilled by the In-Colors returning to the Color Collections. Click the links in the margin to view the new color collections and the list of retiring colors. Be sure to stock up on your favorite retiring colors before the new Catalog and Idea Book is unveiled on July 1st!

Last Day to Order from the Holiday Mini!!

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday. We had a great time with family thanks to my wonderful cousin, Edie, who made the long drive to our home on Christmas morning with my parents. Thank you, Edie!

Monday, January 4th, is the last day that you can order from the Holiday mini catalog. You can view the actual mini by clicking on the link in my sidebar or by clicking on the "shop now" button and then choosing Holiday mini.

This is also the last day to order from the Holiday Extravagana (see link in the sidebar) or any of the stamp sets on the dormant list (stamps that were not included in the current Idea Book & Catalog, but still available for purchase).
